Last Saturday afternoon, Team Singapore made their way to X10 archery range to forge themselves into a weapon, to become something else...
We are greeted by the warm instructor of the League of X10 archers Ms Sabrina Harrigan. Ms Harrigan quickly taught us the basic of nocking the bow, the followthrough and the other fundamentals of good shooting.

When we are ready, we are quick to test out the sophisticated and powerful looking compound bow, and not forgetting to strike our most heroic and TV-poster worthy pose
Introducing Team Singapore:
Win Soon as Arsenal (or Chelsea as he would prefer, but that would be weird)
Guest-starring Malvika Govil as Speedy
Damien Ng: as Damien Darhk / Green Arrow
Hee Zhi Poh as The Dark Archer (for obvious reasons: ie: I'm wearing black)
After a few warm-up shots, the schism between Team Recurve and Team Compound leads to an intense 2-on-2 showdown.
The range is soon filled with the sound of bowstring drawn taut, the song of its release and the thunderous exclaimation of the arorow finding its mark. Seeing our quick improvements, Ms Harrigan quickly placed balloons at the bullseye to test our marksmanship. As you can see in the pictures above. Iit was a sad day for balloons.
We had much fun trying to outdo each other, a shoutout to the awesome Ms Harrigan for allowing us to stay for as long as we want!
This episode concludes on a cliffhanger, like all TV shows, as the teams arrive at a draw after a rigorous 10-rounds competition. We promise to return, with more friends next time, to settle the score once and for all.
